In my version of the Princess and the Pea the sleepless - and uncomfortable - Princess gets smart; she gets up and finds the pea:
“ You are kidding me? You mean the prince purposely hid you under the mattress to make me uncomfortable? asked the princess.
“yes, he did - to find out if you are a real princess...” said the pea.
“But he could have looked-up my facebook! Weirdo...”
